IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT OVERDRAFT PROTECTION-COURTESY PAY

Effective April 1st, 2010...Important notice concerning Courtesy Pay (overdraft protection service) Due to some new government mandated regulations, My Credit Union will no longer offer a $300 Courtesy overdraft of any account. Members whose accounts overdraw will still have the automatic transfer from available funds from their savings only (a $2.00 fee). But we will not cover or pay any checks, drafts or direct debits that are not 100% covered by available, cleared funds in the member account. We are not pleased that Congress and the current administration is including credit unions in many of the new laws and knee jerk reactive policies that are results of wall street and big banks. We are fighting for you and credit unions every day to not be swept into this reactive atmosphere.

No fees or other services are changing at this time.

WE PLAN TO TRY TO BRING BACK THIS PROGRAM AROUND THE FIRST OF 2011. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.
